I maintain a teaching philosophy based on relating the material to the individual student. Education is a living entity through which everyone grows, including the educational process. Therefore, each class is unique in discussion and presentation, based on the needs and interests of the students and the day. With this in mind, I look forward to each class as a new adventure and provide many varied opportunities for student success.

Academic Biography
My own collegiate experience began as a traditional student and evolved to include being: a single parent student, an adult student, a working student, a career change student, and a continuing education student. From these experiences I am able to relate to a diverse student population with an understanding of their individual perceptions. The culmination of these experiences led to a Bachelors degree in Technical Management obtained over a lengthy period of time, quickly followed by a Masters degree in Public Administration and Doctoral pursuits in Psychology. These experiences spanned multiple institutions with experiences in Community College, College and University settings.
