Academic Biography
I am blessed to have been teaching at DCCC since 2011 where I am also the Program Coordinator for the Network Engineering and Cyber Security degree programs. My interest in information technology dates back to the late 80s and I have been teaching technology since the mid 90s in various learning environments. My courses and programs specialize in teaching students the most cutting edge computer network and cyber security related content which also directly maps to the following industry leading certification exam areas; CompTIA A+,. Network+, Security+, Linux+, & CySA+, Microsoft, & Cisco.
Theoretical Approach, Experience, and Temperament
Priding myself in creating a safe and inclusive learning environment for all of the college's students, one of my main goals is to help students learn how to become "Answer Finders." I really enjoy helping to facilitate students in their journey through their courses and programs here at the college where I also work very closely with our Co-op department to help place students in IT internships and gain full time employment in the IT field.
