I am the Magisterial District Judge for Magisterial District 32-1-24 in Marple and Haverford Townships, Delaware County, Pennsylvania. I was elected and sworn into office on January 4, 2012, and reelected in the 2017 general election. During the preceding seventeen years I was employed as a criminal defense attorney with the Delaware County Public Defender’s Office and also maintained a general civil practice. My area of expertise is Criminal Law. I am also experienced in Real Estate Law, Personal Injury Law, Family Law, Contracts Law, Landlord/Tenant Law, and Wills and Estates.

I think teaching is stimulating because it allows me to continue in the learning process. Being exposed to the observations and insights of motivated college students is inspiring. I try to provide a classroom situation that fosters learning and challenges students to think critically about various legal issues and concepts. I bring a wealth of practical, real life experience to the teaching environment that helps to maintain an interesting and exciting learning environment.
