In my current leadership role, I serve as the Executive Director of the Workforce Entry Center, which includes a certified comprehensive PA CareerLink "one stop career center" on the Marple campus. Under the direction of the Delaware County Workforce Development Board, and in conjunction with multiple public agency partners, the Workforce Entry Center provides human capital development services to employers, students, faculty and members of the community. I supervise development and delivery of a wide range of seminars such as: Resume Essentials, Interviewing Techniques, LinkedIn Live, Leveraging Working with a Recruiter, Managing Your Online Presence, Silver Linings; Job Search Tips for the Mature Worker, Identifying Your Transferable Skills and the Career ConneXions series of Networking, Behavioral Interviewing, Accomplishment Stories, Managing Stress and Change, Organization in Your Job Search and Elevator Speech. Surveys and focus groups are utilized to determine how effectively we are serving our participants and to identify new areas of demand. In addition to administering grants and programs, I personally create and facilitate career development workshops and employment search seminars, as well as manage teams of Career Development Specialists and Greeters, in a customer centered service delivery environment. Active member of local advisory boards and community based organizations focused on economic and workforce development.
