We offer a wide range of intercollegiate sports, recreational activities, and fitness opportunities for students.
Intercollegiate Athletics
To compete in any of intercollegiate sports teams, students must be enrolled full-time (bearing 12 credits), have proof of health insurance, and be able to have a doctor complete a physical. For more information about eligibility, please visit www.dcccphantoms.com.
Open Play Sports & Recreational Activities
Want to be active in a social, friendly environment? We offer open play/pick up sports opportunities throughout the year. Sports may include volleyball, basketball, dodge ball, flag football, etc. For more information about what sports are currently offered, please email athleticsdept@dccc.edu.
Students may also come to the ACE Center, Room 1180 of the Academic Building on Marple Campus to borrow sports equipment such as basketballs, volleyballs, tennis rackets & tennis balls, badminton rackets and birdies, etc. and play sports on campus using our outdoor courts or aerobics room facilities at their leisure during posted hours of operation. To borrow equipment, students will need to exchange their student ID and return all equipment during posted business hours.
Fitness Center & Aerobics Room
Prefer to work out independently? The Fitness Center is located in the STEM Building, Marple Campus and is available to all students with a valid DCCC Student ID. The center is equipped with cardio machines, weight training equipment, and free weights. Activities and group fitness classes such as yoga, mindfulness meditation, and/or dance classes may be available in our Aerobics Room. Please check with our Fitness Center attendants for the most up to date schedules.
