The College Hosts the 2023 Regional High School Art Exhibition January 17 to February 17
(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA • January 25, 2023)—The Art Gallery at Delaware County Community College is hosting its seventh annual Regional High School Art Exhibition featuring artwork created in a wide variety of media by art students from 15 high schools in Delaware and Chester Counties. The students’ work is on view from January 17 to February 17, 2023, in the Art Gallery, Room 2305, on the Marple Campus (901 South Media Line Road, Media PA, 19063).
The exhibition features the work of students from Avon Grove, Chichester, Garnet Valley, Haverford, Interboro, Marple Newtown, Penn Wood, Penncrest, Radnor, Ridley, Shipley, Springfield, Strath Haven, Sun Valley and Upper Darby high schools. There will be a special exhibition reception on Wednesday, January 25 from 4 to 7 p.m. It is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be served. The Art Gallery is open Monday through Friday; please check www.dccc.edu/art-gallery for the most current hours. The Regional High School Art Exhibition is sponsored by the College’s Communication, Arts & Humanities Division.
The Art Gallery at Delaware County Community College hosts up to five visual art exhibitions each year, showcasing the work of students as well as professional artists of national and international reputation. In addition to exhibitions, artists are periodically invited to hold lectures, collaborative projects, and workshops for the College community and the public.
