(Delaware and Chester Counties, PA)—Financing a college education may seem daunting and overwhelming, but Delaware County Community College is here to help students and their families with the process. Learn more at the College’s Paying for College Information Night on Thursday, March 22, 2012, at 6 p.m. This free seminar will be held at the Pennocks Bridge Campus in Chester County (280 Pennocks Bridge Road, West Grove, PA).
College-bound students and their families are invited to attend the session, which will highlight available financial aid options and clarify the guidelines for filing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Financial Aid and Admissions representatives from the College will be on hand to answer questions and offer guidance on the process.
Participants will also learn about important timelines and dates, the importance of the FAFSA, mistakes to avoid and tips for making the financial aid filing process easier. Scholarships, loans and grants will be discussed as well. The session is great for those new to the process or for those who need a refresher.
