Applied Engineering Technology Career Night at Delaware County Community College
(Media, PA) What is Applied Engineering Technology (AET)? If you don’t know and you are interested in learning, join us on November 18, 2010 from 6 PM to 7:30 PM for an information session at Delaware County Community College’s Marple campus. The AET Career Night information session will be held in the new STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) Center in room 4405.
High school students, current college students, and adults interested in a career change can explore the possibilities of earning an associate degree or certificate in Applied Engineering Technology.
The information session will highlight the College’s programs in Machining, Electronics, Robotics, Industrial Systems, Mechanical Technology and others in the Applied Engineering Technology field.
AET graduates can look forward to having careers in manufacturing, designing, technical service, petroleum refining, food processing and a host of other industries. Students who earn a degree or certificate in an AET program are prepared for entry level employment. Or they can shift to one of the many four-year universities where the College has secured a virtually seamless transfer.
