Delaware County Community College’s New Choices program can help you gain the knowledge and skills you need to change careers or find a job. New Choices is a FREE (for those who are eligible) career exploration and job re-entry program that provides individual and group support, career planning workshops, employer contacts, networking opportunities, resume writing, interviewing techniques and basic computer skills.
New Choices is an ideal option for people who either are unemployed or are of modest income as well as those looking to get into or back into the workforce. The program offers day or evening workshops in eight-week cycles and is open to everyone.
For more than 20 years, the New Choices program has provided support and direction to thousands of area residents who have been unemployed and/or underemployed. Through supportive workshops, participants learn the skills needed to find jobs, enhance careers or continue their education. Classes and workshops are designed to help build self-confidence and awareness.
Applications are now being accepted for sessions beginning the week of January 17. For more information on the New Choices program, please call 610-359-5232 or e-mail newchoices@dccc.edu.
