Meet Your Senior Adjunct Instructor: A Legacy of Leadership, Plumbing Craftsmanship, and Lifelong Learning We are delighted to introduce your Senior Adjunct Instructor, Mr. Ozias Moore—a distinguished Licensed Registered Master Plumber who brings an outstanding track-record of success, plumbing skills, and expertise from his illustrious career that extends over five decades into the classroom. With an enduring impact that spans over fifty years, Instructor Moore stands as a model of dedication, leadership, and an unwavering commitment to the pursuit of excellence in plumbing. Second-Generation Master Plumber: A Rich Heritage of Craftsmanship Instructor Moore is a second-generation Master Plumber, inheriting not just a profession but a rich legacy of craftsmanship. He initially honed his skills through rigorous five-year Plumbing Apprenticeship program sponsored by both the Plumber’s Union Local 690 and the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Industry of the United States and Canada's (UA). Affectionately known as “Ozie” within the industry, his impressive track record extends over 50 years and embodies dedication, leadership, and excellence in his field.
Academic Biography
Proven Expertise: Academic and a Portfolio of Professional Certifications Instructor Moore's qualifications serve as key milestones in his path to plumbing mastery. Licensed as a Master Plumber by the City of Philadelphia, he has also passed the National Standard Master Plumber's Contractors exam administered by the International Code Council. His credentials are further strengthened by certifications in various areas including Residential and Commercial Plumbing Inspection, Plans Examination, Property Maintenance, and Housing Inspection. He has also passed the National Standard Master Plumber's Contractors exam administered by the International Code Council. His credentials are further strengthened by a certification in Construction Technology from Drexel University and Penn State University as well as certifications in various areas including Residential and Commercial Plumbing Inspection, Plans Examination, Property Maintenance, and Housing Inspection. But Instructor Moore didn't stop at technical certifications. He also holds an Associate degree in Business Administration from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. Beyond technical expertise, Instructor Moore is committed to safety and professional development. He has completed a 30-hour OSHA Training in Construction Safety and Health and successfully passed the Occupational Competency Assessment Exam from the National Occupational Testing Competency Institute (NOTCI).

A Diverse Career Shaping the Plumbing Industry: From Foreman to Instructor Instructor Moore's journey has taken him through diverse leadership roles, from foreman to instructor, each amplifying his notable impact in the plumbing industry and beyond. Starting his career as a Plumber/Foreman in the Building Trade's Union. His roles have ranged from serving as Mechanical Construction Inspector and Code Enforcement Officer to positions in Corporate Management as a Project Controls/Scheduler Analyst II. Equally passionate about education, Instructor Moore has served as an International Commercial Plumbing Code Instructor and currently as a Senior Adjunct Plumbing Instructor. His commitment to educational leadership complements his hands-on experience and teaching style, exposing his students to a broad spectrum of plumbing projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and institutional settings.
