Hong earned his associate degree from the College in the fall of 2023 with majors in Computer Science and Business Administration. He now attends Georgia Institute of Technology, where he majors in Computer Science with a specialization in Intelligence and Information Internetworks. As a DCCC technical research assistant, in conjunction with help from the University of Pennsylvania, Hong worked with DCCC professor of Political Science Ife Williams, Ph.D., on her project, “Mapping Resistance of Africans and African Descendants to Colonialism and Segregation, 1945-1990.”
The Hites Transfer Scholarship is made possible by support from the Hites Family Foundation and the Phi Theta Kappa Foundation. This is the largest scholarship Phi Theta Kappa awards to its members.
